That's good, since February 18, 2025, the Bourget Air and Espace Museum allows, from the age of 8, to realize the start of a dream: to pilot an airplane. While staying on the ground … and safe.

Simpilot, unique animation!

All the pilots have started somewhere, maybe you, or your child, will discover your new passion by going to a museum. This is exactly what the Bourget Air and Space Museum offers.

Indeed, for a few days, a new animation has opened its doors to everyone. From the age of 8, in duet, you too can pilot an airplane between Le Bourget airport and that of Roissy Charles de Gaulle. A very short mail flight, but you have to start somewhere.

And all of this will be done thanks to a special simulator: simupilot.

After receiving the instructions during a brief, the duos will take place in their headquarters and will have three screens in front of them and will have the responsibility to take the controllers in hand to take control of the virtual aircraft.

During the 55 minutes that the animation lasts, you will be in total autonomy. Beware of crashes, which will be very consequently without consequences.

How to take advantage of this animation and control an airplane?

Whether you are a resident of the Paris region or another French region, the animation is open to everyone, so you just have to go to the Air and Space Museum to enjoy this animation.

And in terms of the price, there too, the animation is accessible. Indeed, in addition to the 17 € of the entrance ticket to the museum, you just have to pay an additional € 6 to pilot an airplane, while staying on the ground.

During school holidays, animation is open Tuesday to Friday at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Outside this period, piloting your plane can only be done on weekends at the same hours mentioned above.
