Asked about his speed, and on his mathematics techniques, Aaryan Shukla says that he could not precisely describe his reasoning, since everything is quite automatic and instinctive. “” “Many things in mental calculations are happening in a flash of seconds, so I cannot say what is going on in my head, […] I do it naturally ”.
“We are a normal family”
However, Aaryan remains a 14 -year -old boy (more or less) like the others, who tries to keep a balance by relaxing thanks to meditation. He also has other passions than mental calculation, including reading, travel, video games, cricket … However, it is indeed the mental calculation that propels him to the rank of world champion, and allows him to become one of the founding members of the board of directors of the Global Mental Calculators Association (GMCA).
The Guinness World Record team also had the opportunity to chat with the parents of Aaryan, very proud of their son. The father claims that despite the extraordinary capacities of Aaryan, their family remains a normal family. He is however aware of the responsibility that weighs on his son's shoulders, the latter already being a small celebrity.
