In the industry automobileautomobilethe models of stylestyle Neo-retro are popular. The development of electric ranges is even becoming their playground, as evidenced by the return of the legendary R5 at Renault, for example.

Hyundai has just announced a sports car with a design reminiscent of the Delorean and its angular shapes. The N Vision 74 is based on an electric car concept car presented two years ago. The car is inspired by a prototype of the brand dating from 1974: the Hyundai Pony Coupé designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, which was to be the brand's first sports car. It was the subject of a few prototypes before being abandoned.

The N Vision 74 takes this aesthetic and modernizes it with an electric motor. It is powered by two 235 kW electric motors each.

An electric car that goes to the pump

Instead of a large battery, there is a buffer battery recharged by a fuel cellfuel cell powered by hydrogen gas. With it, the car could travel a distance of 600 kilometers. The racing carracing car would be capable of developing the equivalent of 670.5 hp of power, according to Hyundai.

Once the fuel has been consumed, it is possible to refuel at the “pump” of the two tanks.hydrogenhydrogen positioned on the rear axle. The difficulty will remain in finding a station delivering the fuel. In South Korea, there are 172 stations equipped with hydrogen pumps, but much fewer in the rest of the world. A priori, the N Vision 74 should not be produced on a large scale volumevolume. She will be part of the cohortcohort of the 21 new electric vehicle models promised by the brand before 2030.
