Visitors are invited to become actors of their own discovery, through attractions and interactive animations. One of the most appreciated is “unveiled planet”. Unique in its kind, it combines high definition satellite images with a faithful reconstruction of the terrestrial relief in order to present you spectacular volcanic landscapes, seen from space. For 30 minutes, you will contemplate the beauty of the earth immersive and interactive. Indeed, a vulcania host will accompany you during this discovery. It will allow you to choose your route and deepen your understanding of volcanism thanks to questions and answers.
The film “Les Diables des Volcantes”, screened on a giant screen, pays tribute to the volcanologists Maurice and Katia Krafft. These legendary figures of French volcanology lost their lives in 1991, when they were struck by a pyroclastic cast on the Unzen volcano in Japan. Their spectacular images, captured as close as possible to eruption volcanoes, testify to their passion and their limitless courage.
You can then discover the mysteries of the underwater depths with “Abyss Explorer” or live an experience rich in thrills with Namazu. Go for an unprecedented exploration of the universe in the largest planetarium in France

With its 22 -meter diameter dome screen that can accommodate up to 314 people (including 8 PMR places), this planetarium is the largest in the country! Visitors can now take advantage of two interactive animations led by scientists, which are distinguished by a personalized and in -depth approach. Thus, during “the volcano-spa adventure”, you will embark on a spacecraft to leave for an extraordinary trip to the borders of the galaxy with an animator. With “Tonight in the sky”, you will learn to find the constellations, the planets, the galaxies or the nebula visible to the naked eye, with binoculars or a telescope.
